Terms and conditions

These terms govern your use of the PicOrder mobile app (“the app”), published by PicOrder (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own purposes. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

2. Your photos remain yours

You keep all rights to the photos you use with the app. We claim no ownership or licence over your content. Because your photos never reach us, we have no ability to access, store or use them.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app to:

• infringe anyone’s copyright, privacy or other rights;
• create or distribute unlawful, harassing or misleading material;
• misrepresent images in a way intended to deceive.

4. Paid features and billing

Some features may require a paid subscription. Where offered, all purchases, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms, not by us. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your store account before the renewal date. Manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play settings.

5. Third-party apps and services

The app lets you hand photos to other apps you have installed. Those apps are outside our control. In particular, messaging apps may compress images, strip metadata, or re-sort a batch of photos according to their own rules. PicOrder numbers your photos precisely so the intended order stays readable when that happens, but we cannot guarantee how any third-party app will display, order or process what you send it.

6. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of your photos.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, photos, profits or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Trademarks

PicOrder is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc., Apple Inc. or Google LLC. All product names and trademarks referred to are the property of their respective owners, and are used only to describe compatibility.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and any disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
