Privacy policy

This policy explains what PicOrder (“the app”) does with your information. The short version: your photos stay on your device, we collect nothing about you, and we have no way to identify you.

Information we collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. There are no user accounts, no sign-up, no email collection and no device identifiers gathered by the app. Subscription checks are handled by Apple’s App Store or Google Play, which tell the app only whether a subscription is active. We never see who you are.

How your photos are handled

• Photos are chosen through your device’s own system photo picker. The app only ever receives the images you explicitly select.
• Selected photos are copied into the app’s private storage on your device so your work survives closing or switching apps. This storage is not readable by other apps.
• Numbered copies are produced on your device. Your original photos are never modified or deleted.
• Copies are removed when you tap Clear, when you remove an individual photo, or when you uninstall the app.
• Photos leave your device only when you choose to share them, and only to the app you pick.

Permissions

• Add to photo library: requested only if you choose “Save to Photos” or “Save to gallery”, so the numbered copies can be written back to your library. The app does not request permission to read your whole library; the system picker hands over only your selection.

Sharing with other apps

When you send photos to another app, such as a messaging app, those images are then handled by that app under its privacy policy, not this one. We have no visibility into or control over what happens to them after they leave PicOrder.

The browser version

PicOrder for web runs entirely inside your browser tab. The photos you choose are read by the page, numbered on your own device, and handed straight back to you as downloads. They are never uploaded. The page makes no network requests with your images, and there is no server that could receive them.

The only thing stored is your settings: number style, position and the subscription switch, kept in your browser’s local storage on this device. Clearing your browser data removes it. The site’s typefaces are served from this site, not from a font provider.

Payments

Where paid features are offered, purchases are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive, see or store your payment details.

Children

PicOrder is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on request. All app data lives on your own device and is removed when you clear your selection or uninstall the app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be reflected in the app’s store listing.

Analytics on this website

This website can use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful. It only runs if you agree to it. Nothing is requested from Google until you press Allow on the banner, and pressing “No thanks” means the Google tag is never loaded at all — not loaded and switched off, but never fetched.

If you accept, Google sets cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to tell repeat visits apart, and receives your IP address, which we ask Google to anonymise. We do not enable Google Ads features, advertising cookies or personalisation. We see aggregate reports — pages, referrers, countries, devices — never individuals.

You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer, which brings the banner back. Your choice is stored in this browser only.

None of this touches the app itself or your photos. Analytics runs on this website, not in the iPhone or Android app, and never has access to your images.
